The Albanian Ornithological Society and the Faculty of Natural Sciences (University of Tirana), with the support of the Adriatic Flyway – phase 4 project organize the First Ornithological Conference in Albania , 27-29 JUNE 2022 in TIRANA, ALBANIA

This is the first conference dedicated entirely to the study and work done for the protection and conservation of Albanian avifauna in the last 20 years.
The goal of the conference is to present ornithological studies conducted over the years in Albania, to encourage future ornithological research as well as to strengthen conservation measures for birds and their critical habitats.
For this purpose, the Conference discussions will be focused on the following topics: Ornithology and ornithological contributions in Albania; Bird Conservation in Albania; Monitoring of bird populations in Albania; Birds and Ecosystems; Round-table discussions on bird conservation and monitoring issues, future challenges, etc.
You are invited to participate as a referent of a scientific paper, presentation of a poster, exchanging opinions and experiences related to certain issues that affect Albanian avifauna and/or as a listener.
